Oktoberfest on Lufthansa flights
October is the most beloved month for beer lovers, and the German company Lufthansa is celebrating it with special offerings for their passengers. Flight attendants on some of Lufthansa flights will be dressed in traditional Bavarian costume. Female flight attendants wear a dark blue top with a silver-gray apron while their male counterparts will wear a short Lederhosen with a dark blue vest.
The crew will also provide fresh draft beer to all passengers. In order to tap the beer at an altitude of 10.000 meters a special stern was chosen. The food menu has also been updated to reflect the festivities. Business Class passengers will be served food made in collaboration with LSG Sky Chef Experts. The menu will include delicious meals like a selection of truffle ox, char with Riesling sauce, pretzels, white sausage and Bavarian cream with pistachio pesto.
Passengers who will land in Munich airport (Terminal 2) during the first weekend of October will receive a promotional free box with everything you might need for the festivities.
